Turtle with a domed jali shell
The Dhokra Jali Design Turtle, product reference BDC-230, features a rounded, domed shell formed from rows of narrow openwork. Raised borders frame the shell and neck, with spiral details near the flipper-like feet and patterned bands around the head.
A decorative animal motif
The photograph shows an extended head and low, spreading feet around the shell. Display the piece on a level shelf, console or tabletop with clearance around these projecting details. The listing does not establish a storage, candle-holding or water-holding function.
What details should I confirm?
Dimensions, weight and exact alloy are not specified here. Contact Bastar Arts and quote BDC-230 for measurements, packing details or maker information available for this particular piece. Confirm any intended function beyond decorative display before use.
Care and handling
Support the body when moving it; do not lift by the head or feet. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush, taking care around the openwork. Avoid soaking and abrasive products; ask for finish-specific guidance before polishing.
