Dhokra Turtle Diya, SKU BDC-172, has a tall cylindrical pedestal topped by a rounded bowl with a decorated rim. A projecting animal head and small feet form the turtle-inspired base, while raised rings, dots and braided-looking lines decorate the pedestal and bowl.
A tall pedestal design
The upright form differs from a low shell-shaped diya. For display, place it on a stable, level surface with clearance above and around the bowl, where it cannot easily be knocked over.
Which wick, fuel or candle is suitable?
The listing names a diya, but bowl capacity, wick arrangement and compatible fuel or candle are not specified. Contact Bastar Arts with SKU BDC-172 to confirm intended use, dimensions, alloy and finish before lighting. Do not assume any liquid fuel or candle type is suitable.
Handling and care
For confirmed flame use, keep it attended on a stable heat-resistant surface, away from children, pets, drafts and combustible materials. Allow it to cool fully before handling or cleaning. Support the base and body when moving it rather than lifting by the bowl. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or brush and avoid abrasive cleaners.
